Women in Business Wagga is delighted to welcome the Australian Institute of Company Directors to Wagga at a special lunch being held at the Wagga Art Gallery on 8 June 2017.
Recognised at the country's leading organisation providing governance education, director development and advocacy, the AICD is boosting its presence in regional Australia with a range of initiatives designed to help upskill regional Australians in an effort to enhance the quality of governance practices throughout the country.
Whether you volunteer for a not for profit organisation, serve on a sporting committee, aspire to work for a corporate board or even help manage your school P&C Association, governance skills are critical to ensuring you understand the financial, legal and legislative requirements that must be managed for your organisation.
Members and Directors Manager Linda Fitzhardinge, will address WIB members and guests at the lunch. Linda is Vice Chairman of the City Tattersalls Board in Sydney and a Non Executive Director on the board of Bankstown City Credit Union. Linda will outline the support and programs that the AICD has on offer to help develop your abilities and equip you with the qualifications you need to build a board career or simply enhance your governance skills.
