The Women in Business Wagga Executive Committee extends a warm invitation to attend the Women in Business Wagga 2017 Annual General Meeting, followed by a Networking and Speaker event to be held on Thursday 10 August 2017 at Romano's Hotel, 81 Fitzmaurice St, Wagga Wagga.
5pm - Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held upstairs at Romano's Hotel. The meeting will run from 5pm until approximately 6pm. There is no cost to attend the AGM and a ticket is not required if you will be attending the AGM only.

6pm - Speaker & Networking Function
The AGM will be followed by a general Women in Business networking and speaker function held in The Hampdens Bar at Romano's Hotel. Tickets to the function cost $25 for members and $35 for guests and include canapes. Register for your tickets at this link.
We are delighted to announce that Stephanie Reuss and Victoria Stuart from Beam recruitment will travel from Melbourne to speak at the event. Stephanie and Victoria are the co-founders of online recruitment company Beam Australia.
Beam connects highly qualified and experienced individuals seeking flexible work, with businesses seeking their skills. Beam only provides flexible roles, on a contract or permanent part-time basis in school hours or 1-4 long days per week.
Beam was born when Stephanie and Victoria recognised the pain of modern work-life imbalance faced by many employees as well as the difficulty many organisations face trying to find great talent for a professional team. They saw a need to champion workplace flexibility, along with the opportunity to facilitate connections between organisations seeking great talent and people wanting to continue developing worthwhile professional careers in the context of a less punishing working schedule.
A lack of work-life balance is the #1 and #2 cause of anxiety in Women and Men respectively between the ages of 30 and 40. This has substantial consequences for employees and companies alike.
