Kellie is Associate Head of School and a Lecturer in the sociology and philosophy of education in Charles Sturt University’s School of Education. Kellie is located on CSU's Wagga Wagga campus. As a critical researcher, Kellie’s research also maintains a strong focus on equity, access, and opportunity in education. Kellie’s current research focuses on education policy and the experience of parents and students in contexts of standardised testing. As a critical researcher, Kellie’s research maintains a strong focus on equity, access, and opportunity in education. Kellie has social and political commentary experience and has written for The Conversation, professional journals, and appeared on several news radio programmes. Kellie is an active member of the Australian Sociological Association and serves as co-convenor for the Australian Sociological Association's sociology of education thematic group.
