Renée Chambeyron started her professional career in 1995 as an apprentice chef in Sydney. Although cooking was not her desired career path (she had wanted to join the police force), she quickly fell in love with cooking and the hospitality industry.

Renee thrived under the pressure of running small cafes and local cuisine hot spots, feeding foodie celebrities and multi-national companies, working in five-star hotels and cooking for two Olympic teams during the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Her strive to succeed found her competing in the Salon Culinaire between 1995-1999 where she achieved 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals and a high distinction.

Whilst Renee loved living the city life, something was missing. She had always dreamed of returning to Wagga Wagga and starting her own business, and so in March 2005, she did!

Renee currently owns and runs 6 hospitality businesses including Cache STORE OF FOOD, Cache ACCOMMODATION, Cache APARTMENTS, Carlo’s Espresso Room & Eatery, Charlie’s Chocolatier & Patisserie and The Food Co Wagga.
