Women in Business Sought for Mentoring Program

Media Release
Riverina Business Enterprise Centre (RBEC) has formed a partnership to deliver the highly regarded Women in Business Mentoring Program run by Industry and Investment NSW. The program has helped more than 7000 women business owners across the State to grow their business since its launch in 1995 and will be delivered locally in 2011. The program brings fundamental knowledge to achieve business success with the aid of co-operative learning and mentor guidance.
Riverina BEC Chief Executive Officer Graeme Sayer says the program offers long-lasting business skills and support from other like-minded women business owners. “We’re excited to be able to offer this opportunity to local women business owners,” he said.
“The program will offer a combination of business education workshops covering topics such as business planning, financials, marketing and web marketing. There will also be networking events and ten hours of mentoring by an experienced business owner over three to five months.
“This Business Mentoring Program has been running in NSW for more than 15 years successfully helping to improve business development, networking and growth opportunities for NSW small businesses.”
